Thabong : It is alleged that this wanted Lesotho-national, robbed a person in a broad light and community members couldn’t blink an eye as they assaulted him.
The suspect was then taken to Bongani Hospital following this confrontation, as he sustained serious injuries.
According to the statement issued by local police, the incident occurred on 21 August 2021, when a 34-year-old Tshepo Donald Thokoa robbed a person in the vicinity of Smarties Section in Thabong.
“Then community members assaulted him seriously and was admitted at Bongani hilospital from medical treatment. He absconded during the night and was nowhere to be found,”
a statement read.
This wanted person, Thokoa is originating from Hobhouse and was visiting a traditional Healer in Thabong to be treated for mental disorder.
Thokoa is still missing and wanted by Thabong SAPS. Anyone who might know his whereabouts, is urged to contact Detective Warrant Officer Bertus Olivier of Thabong Serious and Violent Crimes on 082 885 5271 or contact Police Emergency number on 08600 10111.
