Welkom- Missing Thabong teenager Morena-Gift Lentor has been found dead.
A 14-year-old learner from Teto High School’s lifeless body was found in the early hours of Tuesday, 16 February 2021 at one of the local schools in Thabong.
According to the Police, the details surrounding his death are still under investigation.
The young lad’s body was found after three months hanging in a tree.
Lentor was last seen heading to G-Hostel last year on the 21st of December 2020 indicating he’s going to visit his mother. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, black jean and a black snickers.
The family has been pleading with local media houses and radio stations to call for the community of Lejweleputswa to offer a helping hand in finding their son.
The case of murder was opened at Thabong SAPS, and is handled by the Lejweleputswa Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit. The case is spearheaded by Lieutenant Kedibone Gopane, who requested anyone with substantial information regarding the case to contact her on 082 336 7729 or contact Crime Stop hotline numbers at 08600 10111.
