Hello Genius empowers women and children using digital tools

Hello Genius is an amazing non-profit organization that was established during the COVID-19 pandemic. It all began with a game board designed specifically for children to explore and navigate the entire education system, from primary school to high school and even tertiary level.

The Hello Genius game board was created with a noble purpose in mind – to provide a safe haven for children who had dropped out of school or were on a gap year for various reasons.

It became a place where they could access education and continue their learning journey.

The founder of Hello Genius, Motsau Motsau, who also serves as the director, shared with Kasi Voice News that his initial work with schools led to the transformation of the Hello Genius board game into a counseling model. This model eventually evolved into a behavior change protocol within schools, addressing issues such as bullying, harassment, corporal punishment, sexual abuse, and gansterism.

“Hello Genuis have four different programs, our first program is Hello Girls where we teach girls and women digital skills with effective tools that enable the amplication of their voice in a context of school  related gender based violence. We bring more women online so that they can  have access to more educational opportunities.”

“Our second program is Hello Schools that work with schools in gender safe school projects to achieve the key results overturn hurtful actions in the brains,” says Motsau.

He future explain that their third program is Hello Culture that promotes art, indigenous storytelling and playing games.

The fourth program, called Soul Searching, partners with faith communities to empower them to support school communities in addressing and preventing gender-based violence in schools.

Hello Genius seeks to collaborate with school and faith communities to treat women and girls better with Love and kindness.

Hello Genius is in a process of developing a chat bot that will be launched very soon.In future, they will be able to create new job and opportunities.

At this point, Hello Genuis requires sponsorship in a form of funding and equipments such as smartphone, tablets, laptops and stationary that will help them reach their goals.
