End of fairytale: Dj Fresh and Thabiso’s beautiful love story ends in divorce

Mzansi’s golden couple Dj Fresh, real name Thato Sikwane and Thabiso have called it quits after 20-year of marriage.

It is alleged that Fresh’s wife headed for the divorce as there was no longer chemistry between the two love birds.

A close friend let the cat out of the bag, when she revealed that the award-winning disc jockey and the radio personality decided to call it quits as the entanglement between the two was in dire straits.

“She no longer loves him and they were no longer communicating like husband and wife for a while now,” revealed the close acquaintance.

The closest ally to Thabiso also added that she decided to take the lead and end their beautiful love story this year after consulting with her relatives and the couple’s children last year.

The marriage which have seen the two sharing a for long spell for two decades, emanates from the tight bond where the Big Dawg and Thabiso tied the knot in September 2002 .

It is furthermore alleged that things started to be swore between the two last year, after Thabiso lost interest in former Metro FM Dj.

Their other friend confirmed that the couple is heading for divorce.

“When she told him that she wanted out of their marriage and was leaving him, Thato told her that he would not contest the divorce. It’s over, there is nothing we as their friends can do to save their marriage,” said the friend.

The friend added that cracks in the marriage started showing when the couple started sleeping in different bedrooms.

“They are still living under the same roof and there was hope they would get their sparks back. But when she told him that she has consulted with her lawyers to file for divorce, Thato agreed to move out of their house in Northriding once the divorce is finalised,” said the friend.
