Desperate search for missing Lehlohonolo David Mosebo, who never returned home

Theunissen police have embarked on a massive hunt for missing 25-year-old, Lehlohonolo David Mosebo from Lusaka section, Masilo Township in Theunissen.

Mosebo was last seen earlier this year in January, since then, there has been no word from him.

Lejweleputswa police spokesperson captain Stephen Thakeng said that his father who reported his son missing alleged that, he was concerned the night Mosebo couldn’t return home, as the family was having an ancestral ceremony.

“The father then asked neighbours who were busy working with him if they saw the lad.

“Neighbours initially told him that, the last time they saw him, he indicated that he was going to watch television at another neighbor’s house, who confirmed that he did arrive but did not stay long and left. That was the last time he was seen,” said Thakeng.

The concerned father then approached the Theunissen police station to register a missing file.

The police have requested the community to help trace the 25-year-old Mosebo.

He was last seen wearing a grey track top, brown trouser, blue cap and green and red in colour flip flop shoes.

“He is light skinned, medium build, bald head, could be 1,6 metres in height and speaks Sesotho fluently,” Thakeng described Mosebo.

Anyone who might have a lead for the whereabouts of Lehlohonolo Mosebo is urged to contact detective sergeant Tlale Mokhele of Theunissen Detective Services on cellphone number 062 394 2714 or alternatively contact police crime stop number on 08600 10111.
