Three suspects appeared before the Bethlehem Magistrate Court on Friday, August 5, for alleged housebreaking and theft.
Police spokesperson, officer Mmako Mophiring said the complainant alleged that, the burglary happened in midnight of Thursday, August 4, when he was asleep. He alleged that he heard a strange noise.
“He [then] realised that the suspects fled with two bicycles, two grinders, five blankets, 10 pairs of school shoes and copper cable,” said Mophiring.
The concerned neighbours then informed the victim about the whereabouts of suspects. Therefore the police were involved.
The information that was given to the police led to arrest of three men aged between 27 and 32.
Upon their arrival, they seized all stolen items.
Suspects remained in custody for charges of possession of suspected property, housebreaking and theft.
