It is true that getting higher marks in matric is not only key to success but may open unlimited doors in life.
As it is said that our background do not have limit to our future, but only our minds does.
Ben Mbambane is a 27-year-old who is perfect example of the powerful phrase.
If you were talking about a high performing student in Bongane-Lebohang Secondary School, you were simply referring to him.
Having good grades scored him a scholarship to study Aircraft Avionics Engineering in Denel Aviation Technical Academy.
Ben who grew up without parents highlighted to Kasi Voice News that being in aviation was his all time favorite.
“ I had an inspiration since growing up of wishing to be a pilot some day, and growing up I felt in love with aviation and that’s when I decided I want to go into this career path,” said Ben.

The Cornelia-bred intellectual added that careers that are in aviation are not usually thought in rural areas, to many they remain dreams.
“Challenges I faced a lot was the fact that coming from rural areas make you to not be exposed into such career field,
“Coming from a disadvantaged background also made my journey to be difficult but due to the love for what I am doing I managed to qualify and become the best to myself,” he added.
Ben who is now working as an Aircraft Simulator Engineer, wishes to see himself running a business and being a family man in the next decade.
