The police in Nyakallong are still looking for missing teenager, Karabo Mbelekane who never returned home from school on 21 January this year.
A learner from Mosala Secondary School was last seen on her way to the school and according to her parents that was the last time she was seen, and there has never been a trace of her.
“Her parents reported her missing at the Allanridge Police Station on 22 January 2022. The manhunt has been launched since she was reported missing,” revealed Lejweleputswa police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng.
A Missing File was registered for further investigation by the police.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the missing person, Karabo is in possession of her cellphone and efforts were made to phone by the investigator and she picked up the phone but dropped it.
“The motive of the child is unknown but investigation continues. Parents of the child are been informed about developments regarding the case,” said Thakeng.
“The manhunt continues and should anyone have information leading to the whereabouts of Karabo, Detective Sergeant Tseliso Mabaso of Allanridge Detective Services can be contacted at cellphone number 083 756 0312 or Police Emergency number 08600 10111,” he cautioned.
