Lejweleputswa’s women in blue celebrate their role in policing

Female police officers in Lejweleputswa gathered to celebrate their role in the department on Tuesday, 01 March.

These women in blue gathered at Goldfiields Game Ranch to celebrate the role of Women in Policing. Present at the event were senior officers Including Major General Modise, Brigadier Disebo Cezula, station commanders, commissioned and non-commissioned female police officers.

As part of the celebration, the officers discussed the success achieved women within the Lejweleputswa police department. At the same event the birth day of Major General Modise was also celebrated.

General Modise motivated officers at the event and encouraged them to take proud of officers of the law.

“As women, you need to walk the walk and talk the talk,” said the General during her address.

According to a police statement, officers from the gathering reported to be empowered by the motivational session rendered by the General.
