Bethlehem Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation; K9 Unit and Crime Intelligence arrested three suspects for dealing and manufacturing drugs on Thursday, 13 January.
The arrests came as a result of CI led information about clandestine laboratory’existence in Bergplaas Farm, Memel.
Members then conducted a search-and-seizure operation where they uncovered Mushroom plants containing psilocin weighing 100kg.
They seized all drugs and equipment and machinery used in growing mushroom plants.
Suspects aged 32-57-years-old will appear before the Vrede Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 14 January.
