Lesedi FM news anchor appointed as new Free State Spokesperson

Free State Premier Sefora Ntombela has appointed Lesedi FM’s news anchor, Palesa Chubisi as her new Spokesperson, taking over the reins from Sello Pietersen.

Chubisi is a well known TV Presenter and news reporter, where she came in to the public domain for her role as the current affairs host for Sesotho’s national radio station, Lesedi FM, where she spent years as the co-host for Makumane and Matshohlo.

The 36-year-old is also best known for working alongside Leanne Manas on Morning Live current affairs programme show.

She endeared herself to the heart of viewers with her almost flawless command of English, beautiful voice and impeccable journalism skills that runs through her veins.

In 2020,  Chubisi was among 13 SABC employees chopped out by the public broadcaster after her name was mentioned in a list of the public protector’s report on the SABC’s shenanigans.

Makumane’s co-host was allegedly fired while on air at the SABC TV’s news channel, and made a U-turn at Lesedi FM in 2021.

(This is a developing story).
