The Hawks in Free State are investigating an alleged bogus scammer, who is accused of scamming victims millions.
Hawks spokesperson in the province, Christopher Singo urge residents to assist the Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team based in Bethlehem in tracing Moeketsi Ntshasa, who can help unlock the investigation into the bogus investment scheme.
It is alleged that Between the period of 2018 until 2021 the victims invested their money into a company known as Integrated Investment Inn with a promise of getting an interest return of 10 percent.
Singo said the victims did not receive their money as promised and the company is no longer operating from their place of business in Ladybrand.
“As a result the victims suffered a total loss of R15 million,” Singo said.
The Hawks have appealed to anyone with information that may assist the police in locating Ntshasa, to contact investigating officer, Warrant Officer Sidwell Mpholo at 082 372 0386.
“Any information received will be treated with strict confidentiality,” he cautioned.
