Busisiwe Sigenu is an emerging artist and she’s renowned by her stage name B’Queen.
The 30-year-old was born and bred in Johannesburg at Etwatwa West Ext 1 in Daveyton.
Unlike other youngsters, B’Queen has known since she was in primary school that she wants to be a musician.
Her journey into music began with a school choir called New Beginnings in primary school and she has never looked back.
In 2021 B’Queen attended an explosive house party hosted by superstar M.E, a Nigerian artist, after receiving an invitation to the party that turned her dreams into a reality.
At that party she met artists who helped cement her career in the music industry.
She collaborated with Nigerian sensational singers OZ Zagalo and Pupa Tee.
The artist said she was thrilled to be among the singers who were featured on the Duo’s album
titled Immaculate.

The sassy artist reiterates that she was at the right place at the right time with the right people and she will forever be grateful for attending that party.
She further added that the song she was featured in received a good feedback as it went out on all social media platforms including Channel 0, Trace Africa, MTV Base and SoundcitY, and that’s where she attributed her fame as B’Queen to that song.
B’Queen is a versatile singer but she’s currently focusing on afro beat and Amapiano. Last month on 26 June 2023 she released a song titled Sweet Melody in collaboration with OZ Zagalo and Prince Chima.
Sweet Melody is a vibing Amapiano song and everyone can relate to it.
According to B’Queen, her family did not think she was finally in the music industry until she showed them a video on channel 0 and her Google recognition.
Furthermore, she revealed that she performed on stage alone for one year because the guys left to finish the album (the adventure) in Nigeria.
B’Queen has a full time 9-5 job and her side hustle is club hosting, she began this exciting venture after the release of Immaculate.
She started getting gigs in different clubs and she liked how other hosts were hosting so she decided to emulate them, she says she loves the entertainment industry and appreciates the opportunity to be able to host in big clubs like Incognito Lounge, The Bar in Sandton and White in Sunninghill.
Her favourite artist is Makhadzi, according to her “Makhadzi has an innate talent for music and her ability to dance is truly extraordinary,” says the artist.
