Bethlehem, Kroonstad police stations closed due to Covid-19

Bethlehem and Kroonstad police stations have been temporarily closed due to the to Covid-19 cases.

According to Brigadier Motantsi Makhele, Kroonstad’s Community Service Centre (CSC) will temporarily operate from the old Cluster Office situated at 20 church Street.

Telephones lines at the station however, will not be accessible for the closure’s duration.

Brigadier Makhele further stated that Bethlehem CSC will operate from SAP 13 offices in the police station’s yard.

For any police emergency service, the public may contact Community Service Centre on 0825276538; Acting station Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Moremoholo on 082 455 6138; or Detective Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Nel on 0825262717.

“Both buildings will undergo decontamination and the communities will be informed as soon as they are opened and fully operational again,” said Brigadier Makhele.

Free State Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane and management apologised for inconveniences caused by the closure.
