‘An inspiration to many’: Businesswoman, Patunia Nkhahle defeats Abantu Bazothini syndrome!

A Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu, once said “A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step”.

This phrase is so practical in today’s world, since many people think that starting a business need thousands if not millions.

Patunia Nkhahle is a 32-year-old woman who live by this phrase, she started her mix vegetable business with a small amount of money and is grateful to have even started.

If running a business is not in your veins, along the long run you’ll get tired and quit, only the strong will have courage to continue.

Nkhahle highlighted that, she started the business with a family member who later called it quits.

“I started the business with my cousin who later could not continue with me, so I ventured alone in this field of selling vegetables and from there I added other products,” said the entrepreneur.

Nkhahle told Kasi Voice News that, most of her buyers come from older people but to get sales from youngsters she shared her business on social media.

Nkhahle further explained reasons for starting her business.

“The reason I decided to post products I sell on social media was because of the slow pace of people buying from Bronville and I needed to branch to other places and Thabong was the perfect spot for my business to get clients there, Welkom and Riebeeckstad residents then followed with orders,” she added.

The Welkom-born entrepreneur also mentioned that the main challenge that she face in business is that people take her contacts on business social pages for their own personal use and sometimes they say negative things.

Nkhahle says in order to start a business, one do not need thousands and staying out of negative thoughts will help a lot. She further says people will also laugh at your hustle but you should focus on moving forward.

“One things I can say to people who want to venture in this business, you must love it and it will love you back, for me it’s not about money but providing a need to those who need it,” she concluded.
