[WATCH] Free Jacob Zuma campaign shuts down KZN!

As witnessed on the eve of Friday morning, trucks blockaded roads in Verulam on the M27 as widespread protest action began in Durban for the #KZNShutdown campaign.

The KwaZulu-Natal province was shut down by mob of people as part of a violent “Free Jacob Zuma and Shutdown KZN” campaign.

Major roads were barricaded with burning tyres, rocks and trucks.

Police minister Bheki Cele, who was in Empangeni to address a multidisciplinary parade of members being deployed to several northern parts of the province, said 13 people had been arrested following the blockading of traffic in the area.
