Condolences are pouring in for the late former Umhlobo Wenene FM presenter Luzuko Koti, who tragically passed away aged 47 years at his home.
It is alleged that he died following a short illness.
South Africans have passed messages of condolences on various social media platforms.
The family has confirmed the passing of the former spokesperson for Nelson Mandela Foundation in a issued media statement on Monday, 21 March.
During his lifetime, he played many roles in media such as being a broadcaster at Umhlobo Wenene, former spokesperson of Nelson Mandela Foundation and recently he was business manager of Channel Africa.
Kotiβs family praised him for the commitment he showed the country and Africa through his line of work.
The family spokesperson Nontobeko Mabitsela said on media ” Luzuko lived his life in service of the nation and Africa in all roles he occupied. This is no doubt a devasting moment and a loss of a great patriot,”.
Some stars poured Twitter streets with messages of condolences.
Phathu Makwarela said ” I have no words. What a magical human being. Go (well) brother.
The family announced that funeral and memorial service arrangements will be made soon.
