Tributes pours in for late award-winning actress Busi Lurayi

Touching messages of tributes have flocked in following the untimely passing of the late Netflix’s How To Ruin Christmas actress, Busisiwe “Busi” Lurayi.

Her family confirmed the sad news today at noon, July 11, confirming the passing of the award-winning actress.

She was 35 at the time of her death.

In the statement that was issued by family, it is reported that the medical official confirmed the death of award-winning actress at her home yesterday, July 10, but the course of her death is still not known.

“The reason for her death is still unknown as we await the results of the autopsy reports,” read the statement.

“We thank you for the support that has been given so far and will provide further information as soon as it is made available,” concluded the statement.

Busi is popularly known for her role in How to Ruin Christmas series on Netflix. She also starred on other soapies including City Ses’la, Generations, Sokhulu and Partners and Wild at Heart.

In her lifetime she won two awards of which are; the Golden Award Horn for best supporting actress in TV comedy in the year 2006 and the Golden Horn Award for best actress in a TV comedy in 2011.

Celebrities and fans has passed messages of condolences on social media. Many say they will remember her for her iconic acting.
