ICYMI: Tbo Touch returns to Metro FM!

It’s a triumphant return to SABC for the radio legend Thabo “ Tbo Touch” Molefe as he makes a shocking return to Metro FM.

His return comes after the sensational DJ left the radio station six-seven years ago.

At the time of his departure, the versatile DJ was rumoured to be refusing to read a Hyundai advert that made SABC lose at least R16 million worth of advertising.

When Tbo Touch left Metro FM, he started an online radio station, Touch HD and also served on board at Soweto TV as its chairperson.

According to reports, Tbo Touch is set to make a come back to airwaves as soon as 1 April.

It is further stated that the the popular DJ will against host his then afternoon drive show.

It is alleged that Metro FM bestowed heavy cheque as a monthly salary to win back the people’s favourite radio personality.

The embattled radio station is currently in financial constraints, and is looking for ways to regain its lost audiences and advertisers.

Fans had different opinions on Twitter. With some jubilant for his return, while others were questioning his relevance.
