Today marks a month since University of the Free State student, Kwandiswa Masibonge Xaba was last seen taking a taxi from Qwaqwa campus, and since then, there has never been a word from her.
Authorities have found no sign of missing Xaba, a first-year student who went missing last month, June 4.
Although prayers are continuing for her safe return, her family is still hopeful their daughter will return home.
Xaba, who is a first-year Bachelor of Science in Qwaqwa campus was last seen taking the taxi on campus to undisclosed area on the day of her disappearance.
On Thursday last week, the university issued a statement that alleged Xaba could have travelled to other parts of the country.
“The University and the police officials has expanded the search of a missing student to Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal provinces,” statement read.
The police have appealed to anyone with information about Ms Xaba’s whereabouts to contact detective warrant officer Thipa Selepe on 073 510 9092.
Meanwhile, the university said another tip-off can be addressed to the UFS Protection Services by sending an email to investigation@ufs.ac.za, from where it will be communicated to the investigating officer from the police.
