What the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross is irrevocable

The Lord Jesus’ death on the cross was premeditated. God thought divergently about ways to make the world a better place as mankind were headed to self-destruction.

He had witnessed just how bad the world and mankind can get and that it will not be a happy ending.

God thought of a plan to make the world a better place. A plan that will change things for the better. The Lord Jesus Christ became an antitode to the poison the world had to offer us.

He stood on the frontline and took upon himself every manner of sickness, shame, poverty and stagnation.

He who knew no sin became a sinner on our behalf. His love for us was evident when he was on the cross, enrobed in our sins. Our sins were too heavy to bear but his love for us made him to preserver until the end.

His death was a thought-out plan of God’s everlasting love. The kind of love that is fierce and that had to be exhibited on the cross. That act cannot be undone and its benefits are indefinitely.

As we are remembering the act of the cross, let us also remember that we are the reason it transpired.

We are the reason for such excruciating sacrifice yet we undermine the power of the cross and its benefits in our lives.

If only we could understand the doors that the death on the cross opened as well as the doors that were permanently shut by the act of the cross, we would be very far in life.

Sickness is one of the doors that were permanently shut on the cross but we embrace it instead of reminding it about the word of God which is the final authority.

The bible says by his strips we are healed, it also teaches us that God is not a man to lie nor the son of man to change his mind.

Often times we pay too much attention to the physical evidence about our situation and we forget about God’s word regarding that situation. When the Lord Jesus Christ said “It is finished”, that was final, it does not matter what your current situation says, it will never make the act of the cross to be false.

We are delaying our lives by not understanding who we are and what we possess in Christ.

The bible says my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. We lack knowledge of the power of the cross of Calvary. We act and live contrary to the benefits of that act.

Today is the resurrection Sunday, a day where we remember the resurrection of our Saviour. He died on a good Friday and rose from the dead on the third day just as he had predicted.

May your situation also rise from the dead like the Lord Jesus Christ. You have cried for far too long. May your dry bones live again and make you cry tears of joy.

May those closed doors be opened in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth. Go out there and reclaim what belongs
to you. You are a child of God and you deserve only the best.

Never forget that the word of God is irrevocable and that the act of the cross will never be undone, it is not a computer that you can just press undo. It is living, active and sharper than any double-edged sword.

Take God at his word and forget about what your situation says.

Your situation must obey the word of God not the other way around. Happy Easter Sunday, never forget that God loves you.
