The Amakhosi are believed to have not taken any part of match fitness for this evening’s encounter.
The Glamour Boys are scheduled to lock horns with Cape Town City at 18:00 for the DStv Premiership clash.
After the club announced yesterday that it has been hit by positive Covid-19 cases, Chiefs appealed to the PSL to postpone their five upcoming DStv Premiership matches in December.
However, the South African top-flight has gave the Naturena side a ‘silent treatment’ with now few hours left before kick-off time.
Chiefs wrote a distinctive letter to PSL, in which stated crucial reasons on why the upcoming has to be postponed due to the global pandemic outbreak which halted the club’s village this week.
A first letter request PSL to postpone their match against Cape Town City – as well as the rest of their December fixtures.
A subsequent letter from Amakhosi stated that they will not be able to honor the fixture with only 13 players available, although the rules state that they can take the field with seven players.
