Suspect arrested for murder of EMS chief

Bethlehem Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation with Crime Intelligence and Reitz and Turkey General Detectives arrested a 3-year-old woman on Tuesday, 26 October 2021.

The arrest came as a result of an incident from Wednesday, 14 April 2021. Chief of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Nicholas Khoele was found on the roadside of R76 Lindley Road in Bohlokong.

The corpse had several gunshot wounds to the head.

Authorities arrested Makhosazana Falicity Mfuphi and Sinethemba Klaas for the murder of Constable Itumeleng Tladi. After the arrest, the police discovered that the duo was linked to the murder of EMS Chief.

After interviewing the accused duo, CI and Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation conducted an investigation. The investigation led to arrest of the suspect.

The suspect confessed to have paid the two already accused R30 000 to kill Chief of EMS.

Suspect will appear before Bethlehem Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 28 October 2021.
