Royal AM has finally clinched the status of Bloemfontein Celtic FC

The Premier Soccer league (PSL) has finally confirmed the sale of cash-strapped Bloemfontein Celtic being sold to Shawn Mkhize owner of Royal AM.

The Green and white much-beloved Celtic better knows as ‘Siwelele’ is gone, and fans hearts are shatterd.

The club will relocate to kwaZulu-Natal after its status was sold to the highly devoted, Royal AM. Bloemfontein Celtic have reportedly sold their PSL status for a fee close to R50 million.

As the 2021/2022 Dstv Premiership campaign set to kick-start this weekend, Dr. Irvin Khoza briefed the media at the press conference on the decision taken by the PSL’s Executive Committee regarding the sale of the Mangaung side.

The sale of Celtic, is due to financial constraints since 2018/2019, with the effect of Covid-19 causing severe constraints for Siwelele.

It is alleged that, Celtic’s CEO Max Tshabalala was in a desperate mood to sell of the club to the new owners.

Upon acquiring the status of Celtic, Royal AM have sold its status of GladAfrica Champion Status to Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandla (TTM), the Limpopo based club.
